MCR2 Reminder: Monday In School Next Monday - Students & Staff at School Monday, October 12, 2026
Posted Date: 10/09/26 (03:00 PM)
MCR2 Reminder: School is scheduled to be in session on Monday, October 12 for students and staff. We look forward to seeing our Tigers at school on Monday!
The additional Mondays on this year’s calendar do not represent a change in our commitment to the four-day school week. Missouri law limits how early school districts can begin the school year, and because Labor Day fell so late this year, we were not permitted to begin classes until the final week of August. That late start significantly reduced the number of instructional weeks available to us. In order to meet Missouri’s instructional requirements while still ending the school year before Memorial Day, it was necessary to schedule additional Mondays as student attendance days.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!
