MCR2 Reminder: Early Dismissal Day Coming Soon - Next Friday, October 2, 2026

Don't forget! Next Friday, October 2, will be an Early Dismissal Day. The Morgan County R-II School District will dismiss early at 12:00 p.m. ahead of the Versailles Olde Tyme Apple Festival. 

The early dismissal provides additional time for our buses to safely complete their afternoon routes before festival activities/setup and increased traffic begin in and around the Versailles area. It also gives our students, families, staff, and community time to prepare for the weekend's festivities. 

We appreciate everyone's cooperation and look forward to a great Apple Festival Weekend! ​
