Girls State and Boys State are prestigious U.S. youth leadership and civics programs run by the American Legion and its partner organization, the American Legion Auxiliary. They provide immersive “government simulation camps” for high-school juniors, that include opportunities to connect and collaborate with other juniors from around the state of Missouri, learn leadership skills, and receive scholarships.
